If the unthinkable happens, we will pay for expenses incurred when your wedding is cancelled or postponed. Coverage includes cancellation by the venue, sickness or injury to the bride, groom or an immediate family member, severe weather and more.
In the unfortunate event of cancellation or postponement, we will pay additional expenses for the wedding event to be rescheduled within 45 days from the original date.
We will cover the cost to repair or replace stolen or damaged wedding attire that is in possession of the bride, groom, a member of the bridal party or an immediate family member.
You are covered for your wedding rings if they are lost, stolen or accidentally damaged. We will either reimburse or replace the rings up to the covered amount.
Wedding gifts are covered against loss or damage due to accident, fire or theft.
We will pay the non-refundable deposits that you have paid for any booked goods or services that fail to meet their contracted obligations due to bankruptcy, liquidation or non-appearance. You must have a signed agreement with the supplier in order to make a claim.
If your hire firm or private driver lets you down, we will pay the non-recoverable deposits and additional costs associated with arranging alternative, equivalent transport.
We will provide coverage against accidental damage to hired equipment including marquees, tents, gazebos, flooring, chairs, tables, furniture or lighting equipment hired during the wedding period.
We will indemnify the bride and groom or any person for which the bride or groom would be legally liable for, up to $5,000,000 under all plans (no cover for overseas weddings). We will also pay for legal costs and expenses in defending any claim in respect to injury, loss or damage.
We will provide coverage for New Zealand residents that are getting married anywhere in the world. Personal/Public Liability coverage is not included for overseas weddings.
